Geriatric Care Manager
Jennifer T. Szakaly, MA, CMC, is a gerontologist who works as a geriatric care manager with Caregiving Corner. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has worked in the aging industry in the Charlotte area since 2000.
As a community educator, Jennifer previously worked for service providers to inform older adults and caregivers about the resources available to them.
Additionally, Jennifer also has extensive research and grant writing experience in the field of aging.
She is a columnist for
The Charlotte Observer and frequently teaches classes on aging and caregiving to boomers, college students, church groups, and civic organizations.
Geriatric Care Manager
Angie Sullins, MA, CMC obtained her Masters degree in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has worked with older adults and their families since 2002. She has completed the requirements for the CMC (Care Manager Certified) certification which includes academic and direct care qualifications as well as passing the national certification exam. She joined Caregiving Corner in 2008 and can be reached at
